Job Description

General Description of Position: Work with managers to headhunt candidates for specialized, technical, and other assigned positions. Technical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles with a strong emphasis on candidate fit to “culture”. Will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire. Attract first rate technical talent and ensure lasting and successful placements. Ultimately, will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our technical/non -technical positions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to get a clear view of their hiring needs
  • Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy for hard-to-fill and/or high-profile positions
  • Work with hiring manager to create and implement the hiring process for each position, while following the Hargray recruitment framework
  • Develop hiring plans for each recruiting assignment
  • Research competitors and market place
  • Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications
  • Understand technology, technical roles and technical skills
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to the position requirements
  • Pre-Screen candidates and coordinate with Hiring Managers to schedule phone and in-person interviews
  • Manage requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system
  • Ability to gain conceptual understanding of a wide variety of functional/ technical/ engineering concepts
  • Manage candidate expectations throughout the hiring process
  • Responsible for working on both “live” and “contingent” requirements
  • Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels/ tools
  • Maintain target candidate list for hard-to-fill positions to enable efficient candidate sourcing when need arises
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Conduct initial screening interviews
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries to hiring managers
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
  • Follow up with hiring managers and assist with the new hire’s transition and onboarding process
  • Network and build long-lasting relationships with prospective candidates and colleagues
  • Researches and has a deep knowledge of each position responsible for recruiting for
  • Research and develop recruiting leads including maintaining candidate pipelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5 or more years of recruiting experience out of which at least 2 years of technical recruiting background
  • Deep understanding of recruitment processes
  • High energy levels; must be self-driven
  • Strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Strong knowledge of candidate’s selection methods
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and headhunting methods including cold-calling potential applicants
  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
  • Business acumen and market insight
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
