Systems Trainer will be responsible for delivering, coordinating, and maintaining all systems training throughout the Hargray.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ability to learn new OSS/BSS software system from the user’s perspective
  • Provide instructional guidance to end users on functional features
  • Coordination and oversight on an overall user training schedule for multiple software systems with proper collaboration
  • Participate in and provide input to digital transformation team, especially from a colleague training perspective
  • Conducts systems training assessments to measure the effectiveness of all training courses.
  • Contributes and maintains systems training content, events, and reports in the Learning Management System (LMS)Produces and acquires comprehensive, in-depth systems training materials, and, delivers and coordinates training for multiple products.
  • Coordinates with vendors to provide systems training sessions, continuous education, and certifications.
  • Coordinates systems training activities to include scheduling and course logistics.
  • Works closely with other trainers to contribute systems training content, as it supports sales, product, and/or new hire training requests.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Evaluates training by evaluating the effectiveness of training to specific jobs/ roles
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in training role
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a direct technical role and/or in the technical training role
  • Broad knowledge of technology, preferably in the telecommunications field
  • Experience in human resources and/or training environment preferred
  • Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum development
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated success on user training in the software environment
  • Experience in digital transformations / OSS/BSS transformations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and OSS/BSS systems
  • Willing to travel between all Hargray locations
