As a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to assist in executing all marketing initiatives for our new markets and provide daily support to the marketing team. Should have an in-depth understanding of how marketing campaigns work. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and supports various Marketing programs and new market initiatives   
  • Collects organizes and maintains competitive information
  • Maintains expert level knowledge of our products and our competitors’ products and prices
  • Coordinates and maintain a database of vanity numbers, URLs, and tracking code used in marketing campaigns
  • Sets up manages and reports results of marketing campaigns
  • Assists with the roll-out of new marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Ensures compliance with all brand standards and marketing guidelines
  • Supports new market communities and the local grass-roots marketing programs, plans and coordinates events
  • Supports the creation and distribution of campaign material across all markets and all sales channels
  • Helps manage and track marketing costs following budget goals including processing invoices for payment
  • Maintains a repository of all branded material and makes sure that it is up to date
  • Accurately interprets creative briefs to assist in the development of compelling visual design and copy
  • Has experience, creating, or working with, brand guidelines 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks from concept through completion
  • Exhibits effective time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver time-sensitive material
  • Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external agency resources to seamlessly execute integrated campaigns that deliver customer delight and achieve desired results
  • Seeks to create award-winning work that champions the corporate brand and enthusiastically tells the Hargray's story
  • Quickly learns new programs and processes
  • Explores emerging tactics and recommends new approaches to reach and convert target audiences
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients

  • Work with New Market Analyst to gather prospects for the market
  • Assist in the development of the marketing plan for each market. Communicate and maintain updates on the marketing plan
  • Establish an approved photo journal for each new market 
  • Ensure landing pages and other Social Media avenues are established for each new market landing page
  • Work with Operations to implement call routing for number
  • Track community engagement contacts in teams- hand off to sales local market manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the department

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration is preferred
  • 4 or more years of experience in marketing or communications roles (marketing communications, brand marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing or public relations)
  • Proficiency (intermediate level or better) in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required and working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Basic HTML skills, preferably with experience in Drupal
  • Experience creating an email using Constant Contact or similar platform
  • Experience extracting data from multiple network sources and CRM platform
  • Photography, video and audio production, recording and editing a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be well organized and understand process documentation and flow charts
  • Problem-solving and project management skills
  • Knowledge/experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
