Job Description

The Position of Marketing Coordinator will provide the organization with comprehensive, market-specific management and implementation of Hargray corporate marketing strategy ensuring that all in-market campaigns, tactics and creative executions are aligned with corporate strategy and vision and promote the achievement of the goals and objectives of the company as determined by the Board of Directors, its Stakeholders, and Senior management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Marketing Manager in all areas and the creation of marketing materials and coordinating department projects.
  • Evaluate and modify business processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses, operate within the budget.
  • Manage corporate brand, increase brand loyalty, increase brand equity and brand awareness, police compliance with all brand standards, copyrights, and service marks.
  • Provide sales support for all sales channels and personnel.
  • Provide marketing training support for sales channels, personal including partnering with sales on talking points and position statements.
  • Supports the strategic execution marketing campaigns and delivering marketing ideas and activities.
  • Develops and manages a plan and content calendar for evergreen messaging and content to be shared with sales and clients, as well as ongoing pulses of tailored content for individual regional, segment or seasonal needs.
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate and deliver mass marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assist in the development of brochures and sell sheets.
  • Research industry trends.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with the sales team to integrate into their teams.
  • Come up with creative and innovative ways to build the sales team’s expertise in our brand value proposition.
  • Works with multiple agency resources and relationships.
  • Support story development, content and messaging.
  • Be available and able to respond reactively when there is a question or request from the field.
  • Ability to update WordPress site.
  • Toggle between both residential and business marketing coordination needs.
  • Build program educational programs for segmentation communities and attend events as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as required.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing or communications experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and managers and possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be well organized and understand process documentation and flow     charts.
  • Computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Problem-solving, and project management skills are a plus.
