General Description of Position:

Supports recruitment efforts for high volume and non-technical roles. Generate daily postings and monitor social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Manages data in the Applicant Tracking System, screens resumes for minimum qualifications, schedules interviews, ensures external job postings are garnering optimal exposure, and interfaces with hiring managers to ensure that the selection and hiring process is smooth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures job postings are clear, accurate and visible
  • Manages data in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Makes initial contact with potential hires and schedules interview activities
  • Sends assessments and 1-way interview requests to candidates
  • Prepares for monthly Minute Meeting, including sending invitations, tracking responses, preparing the space and communicating with both the hiring managers and attendees
  • In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Post daily to social media sites to increase overall visibility of open positions at Hargray
  • Provide insight on how to further leverage social media
  • Other duties related to recruitment and social media efforts

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, Sales, Customer Service or other related area.
  • High School Graduate; some college preferred
  • Computer/ Systems friendly; especially familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Qualifications Desired:

  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who is able to use critical thinking skills to anticipate needs, creatively solve problems or overcome obstacles
