General Description of Position:

 

Provides accurate and efficient technical support, installation, implementation, maintenance, and training service to users relating to Hargray Enterprise System (HES) application.  Provides prompt and efficient user assistance and problem resolution using accurate and clear communications and applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, and application software.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides first tier support (phone, email, tickets) to users on multiple platforms and operating systems.
  • Communicates independently, effectively, clearly and professionally with managers, supervisors, and employees to establish and maintain considerate and cooperative relationships.
  • Notifies supervisor of errors or equipment malfunction, reports damaged computers and peripheral equipment to the manufacturer, verifies repairs.
  • Create, Change and Terminate users in HES
  • Troubleshoot Service Order, Trouble Ticket and Provisioning issues.
  • Keep track of all helpdesk tasks, requests and time to resolve, using SysAid application
  • Process billing tasks (Closeout, Upload, Download), provide the financial update each cycle.
  • Process various weekly and monthly reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the department.
  • Participate in off-hours, on-call rotation.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of similar work experience
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
  • Understanding and familiarity with OSS/BSS Systems
