We’re seeking a Creative Graphic Designer with experience in traditional and digital media. Someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into brand images, layouts, and other designs. Should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Must have good design aesthetic, strong technical skills and the ability to think conceptually, while working within deadlines and budgets
  • Comfortable designing print or digital media - user guides, channel line-ups, direct mailers, brochures, billboards, publication ads, signage, logos, flyers, PowerPoint presentations
  • Creates and tests digital designs including wireframes, storyboards, animated graphics and video for online channels including website, mobile, apps, email, blogs, social media, display, and 3rd party sites
  • Accurately interprets creative briefs to develop compelling visual design and copy
  • Has experience creating or working with brand guidelines 
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, web, pre-press and production procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks from concept through completion
  • Possess time management skills to meet deadlines and time-sensitive material
  • Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external resources to seamlessly execute integrated campaigns that deliver customer delight and achieve desired results
  • Seeks to create award-winning work that champions the corporate brand and enthusiastically tells the Hargray story
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the department
  • Quickly learns new programs and processes
  • Explores emerging tactics and recommends new approaches to reach and convert target audiences
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:


  • BA in Graphic Design or Associate Degree in Graphic Design
  • 2+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft 365 (Word, PPT, Excel, Teams) on Mac OS Platform
  • Basic HTML skills, preferably with experience in Drupal
  • Multimedia Design experience including digital imaging, photography, video, and audio production, recording, and editing
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail 
  • Portfolio required
