Founded in 1949, Hargray is the premier broadband communications and entertainment provider to the Low Country region of South Carolina and a growing set of communities throughout Georgia. Backed by The Pritzker Organization, Redwood Capital, and Stephens Capital Partners, Hargray is aggressively expanding in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and northern Florida through acquisitions and commercial fiber overbuilds.  Our most recent acquisition was announced in January ( and is the sixth transaction Hargray has completed in the last few years.


We are looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in driving the continued growth of the company. In this role, you’ll perform acquisition due diligence, develop financial valuation models, evaluate capital projects and strategic initiatives, and work on other special projects. The position provides a great opportunity to learn the telecommunications business, gain experience in evaluating investment opportunities of many kinds and work with colleagues across all functional areas and levels within the company, including the senior management team.




  • Analyze acquisition opportunities, including preparation of detailed financial valuation models
  • Participate in the end-to-end acquisition process including business assessment, due diligence, valuation, and post-closing integration tasks such as preparing monthly financial forecasts and budgets of newly acquired businesses
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives such as new market opportunities, network expansions, and other capital investments
  • Ad hoc analyses and other special projects

Job Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong command of finance and M&A concepts, and advanced proficiency in creating complex financial models in Excel
  • Ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment across multiple functional areas to meet aggressive goals
  • Capacity to work flexible hours to include overtime, weekends, or holidays to meet time-sensitive deliverables
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • A self-motivated, high-energy, intellectually curious individual who can easily function in high demand, performance-driven environment
