Job Description

General Description of Position:

Responsible for generating new business utilizing outbound sales skills and techniques relating to the full suite of DCMS services to include, but not limited to, IT managed services, backup & continuity services, telephone systems, hosted services, network design & product sales.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a strong technical knowledge and understanding of all of the business products and services sold by Hargray DCMS.
  • Prospects for leads, referrals and business via outbound phone calls to businesses in the Hargray footprint.
  • Utilizes the current CRM solution to manage opportunities and update them based on inside and outside sales feedback as necessary.
  • Works with field sales and sets appointments for them with new prospects.
  • Meets established goals and metrics.
  • Communicates independently, effectively, clearly, and professionally with customers, employees, supervisors and managers to establish and maintain considerate and cooperative relationships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, marketing, account management, software / IT / telecom sales, lead generation.
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone.
  • Adept in the use of computers to enter data and, ideally, have experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Comfortable moving past gatekeepers, speaking with decision makers and setting up appointments.
  • A proven track record of success in telephones sales is an advantage.
  • Strong drive, proactive mindset and solution oriented attitude.
  • Excellent organization skills and a high standard of professionalism.
