General Description of Position:

 

The Alarm Operator will be responsible for monitoring and dispatching on alarms. Answer calls for doctor offices. Assist in roadside assistance, data entry and input trouble tickets.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate and use multi-channel communication systems including telephone systems.
  • Properly log calls to maintain up to date data.
  • Creates and provides reports as required.
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from client employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring, and radio systems.
  • Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of the department.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience in an operations center or dispatch capacity
  • Strong Supervisory skills with at least (4) years of security experience in a Leadership role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and managers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work 12 hr shifts
  • Must be able to work in a team environment where teamwork is key.
