General Description of the position
Clearwave Fiber is seeking to fill the position of Senior OSP Capacity Management Engineer, the ideal candidate should be able to work remotely from home but be within a reasonable driving distance from one of Clearwave Fiber offices (Atlanta, Savannah, Macon or Valdosta, Georgia or Marion, Il.). They will report to Clearwave Fiber’s Manager of Planning and Engineering Systems.
The position’s primary objective is to support the management and analysis on scheduled or dynamic basis of our transport (Feeder) fiber capacity including GPON/AE PON’s. This includes identify and implementing updates for new fiber allocations in 3GIS or other related systems, as well as updates to other capacity management spreadsheets. These updates including executing necessary splicing and setting Circuit Names, Status and Customer names where applicable.
