In this role you would be responsible for all aspects of operations for new markets, determining requirements for new market colleagues, providing input for initial models, developing and maintaining the new market project plan and playbook. This role would also be a key point of contact for Commercial Business Sales personnel and Senior Leadership for sales order management business processes reports organizational performance status including product rollout, order processing, and project management activities, process efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the ORT test plan
  • Review initial model and determine staffing, vehicle and equipment requirements
  • Develop and maintain the new market project plan and playbook as it relates to operations
  • Work with facilities and sales to determine office, warehouse, and logistic requirements
  • Interview and hire colleagues
  • Order equipment in alignment with a hiring plan
  • Work with regulatory to determine porting procedures and acquire a necessary credential
  • Partner with HR to set up and ensure necessary training is administered
  • Input test orders in HES Test and work with IT-Application Engineering to correct problems
  • Partner with GM and BAU Operations to determine IVR call handling and implement
  • Train TAC and NOC on market specifics
  • Input presold orders and maintain contact with the customer during the construction process
  • Issue ORT test orders IT-Application Engineering and Network to correct problems, ensure proper provisioning
  • Install and provision all presold orders
  • Perform a New Market handoff acceptance meeting with BAU resources
  • Assisting with interviews and hiring of new market colleagues and participating in lessons learned sessions so that we can adjust our plans for future markets.
  • Requires a strong understanding of order management business processes with special emphasis on continuous process improvement in the areas of efficiency, productivity, revenue integrity, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Develops and executes strategies that contribute to standardizing best practices and optimize work-flow to enhance technical and operational performance.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Customer Operations processes, rules, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry installing and/or supporting voice, data and video services.
  • Must build and maintain effective working relationships to ensure business objectives and priorities are successfully supported, communicated and executed within the Commercial Business organization.
  • Must be familiar with basic Telco terms and infrastructure
  • Must understand broadband service offerings (CATV facilities, Digital Subscriber line, and Fiber to the Home) and effectively communicate that technology to customers
  • Must be a self-starter able to work without close supervision and to think independently.
  • Proficient in personal computer use with good keyboard skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including a proven ability to listen and understand customers, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
