General Description of the position:

 

Enterprise Solution Architect will have primary responsibility for developing new blueprints or maintaining Enterprise Reference Architecture developed for Digital Transformation at Hargray. ESA will partner with business stakeholders and business transformation partners to create and align solutions with the overall enterprise reference architecture and roadmap. The candidate will work very closely with the head of digital transformation, setting the enterprise architecture vision and tying it to the long-term goals of business covering all the business units, network technologies, product lines, and service types.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • This position requires a candidate with experience in developing and managing end-to-end architecture (BSS/OSS) combined with cross-functional leadership experience.
  • In order to develop architecture solutions and evolving roadmaps this role needs to lead on collaborating with cross-functional areas of the business including product management, sales & sales support, multi-channel operations, network engineering, inside & outside plant network operations, service delivery operations, dispatch & field operations, billing operations, accounting, finance and revenue management.
  • Some of the responsibilities include working closely with vendors and strategic partners in the development of blueprints and artifacts to support digital transformation and subsequent strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Candidate needs to have a strong understanding of common business models (consumer, SMB, enterprise, and carrier), network access technologies (Fiber, HFC, Copper, Fixed Wireless Access)
  • Candidate needs to have a strong understanding of standard product architectures covering VoIP, Internet, TV and Carrier Ethernet services offered by wireline operators in consumer, SMB, enterprise, and carrier business segments.
  • It’s required to have a good functional understanding of these various dimensions in order to effectively lead cross-functional collaboration sessions during and after the digital transformation.
  • Provide technical expertise, advice and mentoring to other team members
  • Provides leadership on large projects spanning onsite and remote business and technical teams.
  • Liaise with business /stakeholders on project status, proposals and technical issues.
  • Prepare executive status reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • 10-15 years of experience gathering BSS/OSS requirements and developing comprehensive BSS/OSS enterprise solution architectures that meet functional and performance expectations.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing/leading architecture in large transformations.
  • 5-10 years of experience leading solution architects (or solution leads) to manage/support enterprise needs.
  • Strong functional knowledge of multiple BSS/OSS domains in the following areas: IVR/Call Management, Product Catalog, CRM, eCommerce/Digital Front End, Order Management, Workflow Management, Network Inventory, Asset Management, Workforce Management, Provisioning, Activation, Billing, Revenue Assurance, Mediation and Revenue Management and End-to-End Integration.
  • Understanding of industry-standard CRM solutions like SalesForce, MS Dynamics is a plus
  • Working knowledge of functionalities and interfaces of the E2E OSS/BSS solutions
